Professional Memberships and Rosters

Appointed Adjudicator-Expert by the Government of Québec for the resolution of disputes not yet settled ensuing the execution of a public contract.

Chartered Arbitrator and Mediator with experience in civil, commercial, corporate and contractual matters, and in insurance, Robert is a member of both Panels of Arbitrators of the ADRIO (ADR Institute of Ontario) and IMAQ (Quebec Institute for Mediation and Arbitration) (both members of the ADR Institute of Canada group). He is a member of the Panel of Canadian Arbitrators of the Arbitration Court of the International Chamber of Commerce (Paris), and a member of AAA / ICDR International Panel of Arbitrators (New York). His name is also entered on the CAM (Mexico Arbitration Centre) List of Arbitrators and on the Rosters of Arbitrators maintained by the Canada Transportation Agency, by the Barreau du Québec (Arbitration Committee). He is also accredited by the New Residential Buildings Guarantee Plan (Québec).

Arbitration Experience

Since 1997, Robert has served on over 180 arbitrations, at national and international levels, Ad hoc and Institutional, as Sole Arbitrator or as Chair or Co-Arbitrator ; in matters of Construction (Buildings, Civil Engineering Works, Highways), in Business and Commercial Law, in Insurance, in Corporate (including joint-venture arrangements and shareholders agreements), Real Estate and Civil Law ; for the New Residential Buildings Guarantee Plan (Québec), and for the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP).

He also acts as member of Dispute Resolution Boards (DRB).
